Chef Kari Smid

 

I’

HI. I’m Kari. I am a classically trained chef. I believe in tacos. I dance to anything with a beat. I adore my daughter. I’m a fan of tattoos. I speak Norwegian. I watch Jeopardy. And I suffered a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) in October 2010.

After I spent four months in a comma, I woke to a changed life. Although I face challenges, I’m kicking back.

Oh yeah…I forgot to mention that Im from Norway, and have lived in England. I was actually born in Norway. (I Norge), but I used to have dual citizenship, but americas not too fond of that.
I did all that because Im an oil brat. The only continents Ive never been to are South America, and Antarctica. 🙂

This collection of Knock Out Recipes represents my fight, my passion, and highlights some darn good food too. Enjoy.
